Island Engineering, LLC is a Civil Engineering Design and Consulting
firm located in the district of Puna , and capable
of serving the entire State. Our team can take your development from
concept through the permitting process, and finally to construction
drawings. From simple septic designs to complex grading, stormwater and
site development projects, Island Engineering, LLC will provide
solutions that are cost effective while meeting all County, State, and
Federal code requirements, designed to the highest level of engineering
standards. We are also capable of performing in-house topographic
surveys which gives us a closer connection to the topography of the
land, aiding in the design process.
Island Engineering, LLC was started by Jeff Ross in 2016. He has
20 years experience designing all facets of residential, commercial,
and industrial site development and over seven years on the Big
Island and statewide. Although the Big island is a small land mass, the contours, soil conditions, rainfall amounts, and other site parameters vary greatly. Jeff is a “boots-on-the-ground” engineer, understanding that design on paper has to have the flexibility to conform to varying site constraints and complexities.
